CGI | NETIO products: Networked power sockets

Common Gateway Interface (abbreviated CGI) is a protocol to connect external applications with a web server. Such application usually processes a script within the web page and returns a static page to the web server.

NETIO smart sockets and PDU products use CGI technology to pass data from a HTTP request to the internal LUA programming language.
The CGI provides an API that is handled by a LUA script, allowing e.g. to modify variable names and so on.
