Remote Restarting
Remote restart refers to the process of restarting electronic devices like computers, servers, switches, routers etc. remotely over a network connection. This restart involves performing a cold start, where the device is powered off and then on again by interrupting the power supply, commonly known as power cycling.
PowerUp sequence
The PowerUp sequence for a PDU controls the order and timing of output (outlet) activation after power is restored. It prevents inrush current issues and circuit breaker overload by delaying the startup of connected devices. In NETIO PDUs, default delays are preconfigured but can be customized for each outlet or group.
SCHEDULER
The Week-day based Scheduler function (also called planner or calendar) allows to specify a time plan for switching individual electrical sockets on and off based on time and day in week.
